Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Kim started singing at the age 2.  She continued to sing and travel with various groups throughout her school years.  In college, Kim performed with the legendary Gold Company Program from Western Michigan University.  After completing a Bachelors Degree, Kim moved to New York City where she performed with the Les Paul Trio at the Iridium Jazz Club and recorded her first album “Make It Nice”.  Her recording of the “Star Spangled Banner” has been playing on radio stations and events since 2001.  She still performs the anthem live at numerous events around the US.

This Christmas Album has been long awaited by fans of KIM MATSKO and was brought to life with the help of the very talented Arnett Hayes as co-producer, arranger and performer.  “CHRISTMAS” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Brian Edwards in Baton Rouge.  You will hear some of the top New Orleans & Baton Rouge musicians on the album & we hope that it truly brings joy, love and inspiration to your life every time you listen.

KIM MATSKO currently lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (known as “Hollywood South”) where she founded and teaches at Yoga Bliss and has opened the first cold-pressed juicery in Louisiana, The Big Squeezy!
